Call for Papers from Emerging Researchers

The ERS is a chance for emerging researchers to workshop their work the morning and afternoon before the conference begins (Monday, June 15, 2026). Pre-circulated papers will be discussed in small seminar-style sessions mentored by established scholars. Interested participants must submit abstracts by February 27, 2026. If selected, participants must circulate papers by May 31, 2026 for re-distribution and advanced reading by workshop mentors and other participants. We encourage applications from students at all levels (including your best undergraduates!), as well as recent graduates, new faculty members and independent researchers. Please indicate your affiliation and position.

Participants may apply to present during the regular conference (June 15-18) with the same abstract, but please indicate if you have a preference. We will try to organize seminars according to topics and hope to offer financial assistance to some participants. Fees for Sunday activities will be included in conference registration fees.The deadline for ERS submissions is 11:59pm (EST) on Friday, February 27, 2026. Notifications of acceptance to ERS will be sent by mid-March 2026.
